Understanding Data Request Statuses

Every subscription on Repliers represents an application for MLS data licensing. Because MLS data access requires approval from multiple parties (including brokerages, agents, MLSs, and Repliers), applications move through several stages before data access can be activated.

Below is an explanation of each application status and what you can expect at each step.

Incomplete

What it means

Your subscription was started but not successfully completed.

Common reasons

  • The checkout or subscription process was abandoned before completion.
  • A payment or account setup step was not finalized.
  • An unexpected issue occurred during checkout or while upgrading an existing subscription.

What you should do

If you intentionally stopped the process, no action is required. If you expected your application to be submitted, please contact Repliers Support so we can investigate.

Pending Review

What it means

Your application has been received and is waiting for initial review by the Repliers team.

What happens next

  • Repliers will verify the information submitted.
  • Your application will be assigned for review.
  • No action is typically required from you during this stage.

Review In Progress

What it means

Repliers is actively reviewing your application and licensing details.

What happens next

  • We verify licensing information, brokerage details, MLS eligibility, and intended use case.
  • If any information is incomplete or inaccurate, we will contact you for clarification.
  • Applications may be rejected if licensing details cannot be verified or if the applicant is not eligible for the requested MLS data access.

Action required?

Possibly. Please monitor your email in case additional information is requested.

Licensing In Progress

What it means

Your licensing information has been confirmed and the compliance process with the MLS is underway.

What happens next

  • Data license agreements are prepared and circulated.
  • Required parties may need to review and sign documentation.
  • MLS compliance teams may review the application.

Who may need to take action

  • The subscriber
  • The licensed agent (if applicable)
  • The head broker or broker of record
  • The MLS

This stage often involves multiple organizations and may take the longest to complete.

Ready For Implementation

What it means

The licensing process has been completed successfully.

What happens next

  • All required approvals and agreements have been received.
  • The application is now with Repliers for final account provisioning.
  • The team will prepare your account, data access, and enabled features.

Action required?

No action is typically required.

Implementation In Progress

What it means

The Repliers team is actively configuring your account.

What happens next

Depending on your subscription, this may include:

  • Provisioning MLS data access
  • Enabling APIs and add-ons
  • Configuring webhooks and integrations
  • Verifying account functionality
  • Performing final quality assurance checks

Action required?

Usually none, unless additional implementation details are needed.

Pending Display Compliance

What it means

The MLS requires a review of how MLS data will be displayed before granting final approval.

What happens next

  • You will prepare your website, application, or use case for review.
  • Repliers will help ensure your implementation meets MLS display requirements.
  • The MLS will conduct its compliance review.

Action required?

Yes. You may need to provide access to your website, application, or staging environment for compliance review.

Good to know

Repliers will assist throughout this process to help ensure a smooth MLS review.

Note: Not all applications require a Display Compliance review. Some applications may move directly from Implementation In Progress to Completed.

Completed

What it means

Your application has been fully approved and implemented.

What happens next

  • MLS licensing is complete.
  • Account provisioning is complete.
  • Your subscription is active and ready to use.

Action required?

None. Your application process is finished.

Declined

What it means

The application could not be approved.

Common reasons

  • The MLS does not support the requested use case.
  • Licensing requirements were not met.
  • Licensing information provided was inaccurate.
  • Required documentation was not completed.
  • The subscriber became unresponsive during the application process.

What happens next

If appropriate, Repliers may provide additional details regarding the reason for the decline and whether the application can be resubmitted in the future.
