There are two primary ways to structure this partnership from an MLS® compliance perspective:
- You maintain your own MLS® datafeed (Option A)
- You have direct relationships with MLS® Systems
- Repliers is added as a consultant/vendor on your account for transparency
- You pay Repliers per MLS®, regardless of how many subscribers you have

- You pay Repliers per subscriber per month; pricing varies by volume, with lower rates at scale. Repliers handles all compliance and licensing
- Always check with each MLS® to determine if they support this approach
Choosing the Right Option for Your Business
The right approach depends primarily on your product's pricing model and the scale of your customer base.
Option B is better suited for enterprise or premium pricing. When you have fewer, higher-paying customers:
- The per-subscriber cost to Repliers is easier to absorb while maintaining healthy margins
- Outsourcing compliance to Repliers is cost-effective — you don't have enough customers to justify managing it yourself
- You benefit from faster time-to-market without investing in licensing relationships
Option A is better suited for volume or economical pricing. When your product is priced accessibly and you expect a large number of subscribers:
- A per-subscriber fee to Repliers would significantly compress your margins
- A flat per-MLS® fee gives you more predictable costs as your user base grows
- Note that MLS® data licensing costs are fixed per market — if you don't have enough customers in a given market, those costs can exceed your revenues from it. Focus your marketing efforts on specific markets to achieve unit economics before expanding.
The middle-ground scenario: If your pricing falls between these tiers (e.g., a modest add-on feature, not a premium enterprise product), and you have customers spread across many markets with no geographic focus, neither option is a clean fit.
