# Automatic Email Parameter Integration In Messages

Our platform automatically enhances all clickable links in your client communications by including an "email" parameter. This feature requires no setup or configuration - it works seamlessly with every email and message sent through our API. The email parameter is useful for tracking purposes, should you need to identify which clients are clicking your links.

## How It Works

Our system automatically enhances all clickable links in your client communications by adding an "email" parameter. When you send emails or messages through our API, we seamlessly append the recipient's email address to any URLs in your content.

**Example URL structure:**

```
https://yourwebsite.com/landing-page?email=client@example.com
```

## Follow Up Boss Integration

This feature was developed specifically to support [Follow Up Boss tracking](https://help.followupboss.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037775174-Follow-Up-Boss-Pixel-Overview). Follow Up Boss includes a pixel tracking system that automatically identifies visitors when an email parameter is present in the URL. When a client clicks a link with the email parameter, Follow Up Boss will:

* Automatically associate the page visit with the correct client record
* Update the client's activity timeline
* Trigger any relevant automated workflows
* Track engagement metrics for reporting

## Other Tracking Software

If you're using tracking pixels or software from other providers, please verify that your tracking solution supports the "email" parameter for proper client identification. Not all tracking systems recognize this parameter by default.
